How sharing works and what leaves your phone
MesoMetric never sends your training anywhere on its own. Every share is started by you.
Every share starts with you
Tapping any share or export button opens your phone's own share screen.
From there you choose the destination: email, Messages, Drive, Files, or anything else on your phone.
MesoMetric has no server. It does not upload, sync, or keep a copy anywhere.
Backing out sends nothing
Closing the share screen without choosing a destination sends nothing. No message appears.
Check the contents before sending
Some exports contain everything. MesoMetric warns before those:
Anyone who opens the file can read all of it. Save it somewhere private, not a shared or public location.
Some exports cover one workout. Others contain your whole history, your photos, and your body weight.
Photos are excluded by default
Photos are never included by default.
In a Daily Export, Photos sits under Privacy-sensitive and starts off. A Coach Report works the same way.
Left off, the export is text. Turned on, your photos are packaged with the report.
Body Log and recovery are excluded by default
In a Coach Report, Recovery and Body Log both start switched off.
Turn them on to include them.
Barcode lookup data
Scanning a food barcode sends one lookup value outside the app.
MesoMetric sends the barcode number only to Open Food Facts, a free food list, to look up the product.
Nothing about you, your training, or your body is sent with it.
