MesoMetric — Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2026-06-20
This policy describes how MesoMetric currently handles information and how that may change in clearly-disclosed future updates. It uses current-state language; statements describing future capabilities are marked as planned/possible and are not in effect until a release that discloses them.
1. Overview
MesoMetric is a local-first training log and metrics app for serious lifters, bodybuilders, coaches, and competitors. It is designed so that your training data stays on your device under your control.
Currently, MesoMetric does not use accounts, cloud sync, advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, push-notification token collection, crash-reporting SDKs, or any MesoMetric-side collection of your training content. MesoMetric does not sell personal data, does not use training content for advertising, and does not use training content for third-party tracking.
MesoMetric is designed local-first. Workout logs, body metrics, check-in photos, routines, notes, reports, and other training content are stored on your device unless you choose to export, share, back up, or restore that data through features you control.
Future limited diagnostics, app-integrity checks, purchase validation, optional backup/restore, stability or security features, or user-requested services may be added in later versions. Any such addition will be introduced only with updated disclosure in this policy before or at the release that includes it, and any future processing will be limited to the disclosed purpose.

3. Local-First Training Data
MesoMetric is designed local-first. Your training content is stored on your device. At launch, MesoMetric does not operate an account system, does not sync your training data to a cloud service, and does not send your training content to a MesoMetric server.
Your training content leaves your device only when you choose to export, share, back up, or restore it using features you control (see Section 6). When you do, the data goes to the destination you select (for example, a file, an email, or another app you choose through your device's share options) — not to MesoMetric.
4. Data You Store in the App
Within MesoMetric, you may create and store training content on your device, including:
- Workout logs (exercises, sets, reps, weights, planned-vs-actual data)
- Bodyweight and body-composition entries
- Progress check-ins and notes
- Routines and protocols
- Cardio entries
- Reports generated from your data (for example, a Coach Report)
- Photos you attach (see Section 5)
This information is stored locally on your device. MesoMetric does not collect this content on its own servers.
5. Photos and Media
MesoMetric can use your device camera and photo library so you can attach images — for example, equipment photos or progress check-in photos. These images are stored on your device. MesoMetric requests camera and photo permissions only to support these features; you can decline or revoke these permissions in your device settings, though some features that rely on images may then be limited.
MesoMetric does not upload your photos to a MesoMetric server. Photos leave your device only if you choose to export or share content that includes them (see Section 6).
6. Export, Share, Backup, and Restore
MesoMetric gives you control over your own data:
- Export and share: You can export or share your data through your device's standard share options. This is always initiated by you, and the data goes to the destination you choose. MesoMetric does not receive a copy.
- Backup and restore: You can create a backup of your data and restore from a backup file you control. These files are handled on your device and through destinations you select.
Because these actions are under your control, you decide whether, when, and where your data is shared. Your data and export rights remain yours; existing history and the ability to export your data are not held hostage.
Note: at the current stage, photo image bytes are not included in the backup file (photo references may be recorded, but the underlying image files are not embedded). This document will be updated if that changes.
7. Purchases and Store Billing
MesoMetric V1 is planned to be free to download with a 7-day full-access evaluation. After the evaluation period, continued use is planned to require a one-time unlock purchase. There is no subscription for the V1 solo-lifter experience.
Purchases are planned to be processed by the native app-store billing systems provided by Apple and Google. MesoMetric does not collect or receive your credit card details, PayPal information, or any web-checkout payment data. Payment information is handled by the app store under its own privacy terms, not by MesoMetric. Purchase and unlock implementation is future work; this section will be updated to reflect the exact mechanics when that work ships.
8. Trial Eligibility and App Integrity Checks
To keep the planned free trial fair and to help prevent abuse (such as repeatedly reinstalling the app to reset the trial), MesoMetric may use device-level or app-integrity checks provided by the platforms in a future version — for example, Apple's DeviceCheck or Google's Play Integrity / device recall mechanisms.
If introduced, such checks would be used solely to determine trial eligibility and prevent reinstall abuse. No workout logs, photos, reports, routines, or other training content would be sent for this purpose. These checks are planned/future and are not in effect until a release that discloses their use; if added, this section will describe what is processed and why, limited to that purpose.
9. Crash Diagnostics and App Improvement
At present, MesoMetric does not include a crash-reporting SDK and does not collect crash diagnostics.
MesoMetric may add anonymous crash diagnostics in a future version to help fix stability issues. If added, such diagnostics would be limited to non-personal technical information and would not include workout logs, photos, training content, or personal identifiers. This capability is a possible future addition and would be disclosed in this policy before or at the release that includes it, with processing limited to the disclosed purpose.
10. Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking
At present, MesoMetric does not use analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or third-party tracking, and does not collect advertising identifiers or push notification tokens.
MesoMetric does not sell personal data, does not use training content for advertising, and does not use training content for third-party tracking. If any limited analytics or related functionality is introduced in a future version, it would be added only with updated disclosure in this policy, and any processing would be limited to the disclosed purpose.
11. Data Deletion
Because your training content is stored on your device, you can delete it by removing entries within the app or by uninstalling MesoMetric, which removes the app's locally stored data from your device. Backup or exported files you have created and saved elsewhere are under your control; delete those from wherever you stored them.
12. Children's Privacy
MesoMetric is intended for serious training and is not directed to children. It is intended for use by adults. MesoMetric does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information in a way that requires attention, contact us at support@mesometricapp.com.
13. Health / Fitness Disclaimer
MesoMetric is a training-log and metrics tool for informational and record-keeping purposes only. It does not provide medical advice and is not a substitute for professional medical guidance, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for a qualified coach. Always seek the advice of a qualified professional regarding your training and health. MesoMetric does not claim any specific regulatory health-data certification.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as MesoMetric evolves. Material changes — including the introduction of any new processing such as diagnostics, app-integrity checks, or other features described above as planned/future — will be reflected here with an updated effective date, before or at the release that includes the change.
