How to reset app data

Reset App Data erases everything MesoMetric holds on this phone. There is no undo.

Back up first

Your training exists only on this phone.

Use Back up my data before resetting. It creates one file containing everything, including your photos.

The on-screen warning suggests Daily Export or Coach Report. Those are partial text reports and cannot be restored. Only Back up my data is a complete copy.

How to back up your MesoMetric data

Reset the app

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Scroll to Danger Zone.
  3. Tap Reset App Data.
  4. Read the warning, then tap Continue.
  5. Type RESET into the box.
  6. Tap Reset App Data.

The final button stays locked until RESET is typed exactly.

On completion:

App reset complete
{n} files deleted.

You return to an empty Command Center.

Finish your workout first

Reset is blocked while a workout is running:

Finish or discard your active workout before resetting.

What is deleted

All of it:

  • workouts, sets, and routines
  • custom exercises
  • check-ins and their photos
  • equipment photos
  • weights, body measurements, and Body Log entries
  • meals and foods
  • recovery entries
  • cardio sessions
  • gyms

Some app preferences may survive a reset. Check your settings afterwards and set them again if needed.

Clearing one kind of data instead

Most screens clear their own data without a full reset:

  • Delete all training history on the History screen
  • Delete All on the Check-ins screen
  • Delete all logged weights on the Weight screen

Each one names what it removes and leaves everything else unchanged.
