How to log a set

A set is one group of lifts you do in a row, and you rest after each set. A rep is one lift.

"3 sets of 8 reps" means you lift the weight 8 times, rest, and repeat that three times.

Save each set as soon as you finish it.

How to save a set

  1. On the exercise, tap Log Set.
  2. Enter what you did.
  3. At the bottom, tap Log Set again.

The set is saved and you return to your workout.

What you can enter

BoxWhat to put in it
Weight (lbs) or Weight (kg)How much weight you used
RepsHow many times you lifted it
RPE (1–10, optional)How hard it felt, from 1 to 10
Warm-up: ON / OFFTurn this on for a warm-up set
NotesAnything you want to record

Only the weight and the reps are required.

RPE means how hard the set felt. 1 is very easy and 10 is as hard as you can go. Leave it blank to skip it.

Body-weight exercises such as pull-ups have no weight box. Enter the reps only.

Warm-up sets

A warm-up set is a lighter set you do to get ready, not one of your real working sets.

Tap Warm-up: OFF to change it to Warm-up: ON.

MesoMetric leaves warm-up sets out of your working volume.

Doing the same set again

Tap + on the exercise. MesoMetric saves a set identical to your last one.

If you planned this set ahead

A small PLAN box appears at the top when you planned ahead, showing what you meant to do.

It does not fill in the boxes. Enter the weight and reps you completed.

After you save a set

The rest timer buttons are at the top of the screen.
