How to import cardio in a routine

Cardio can be included in a pasted routine. It uses the layout below.

Give cardio its own day

Write the machine name, then each value on its own line below it:

Day 1: Cardio
Treadmill
Duration: 20 min
Speed: 3
Incline: 5
Distance: 1 mi
Steps: 2500

This creates a routine holding:

Treadmill
Duration: 20 minutes
Speed: 3 mph
Incline: 5%
Distance: 1 mile
Steps: 2,500

The six values you can use

Write each one as Name: value, one per line:

Duration · Speed · Incline · Distance · Steps · Level

Any of them can be left out. Write only the ones you plan.

Put a space before the unit

Write thisNot this
Duration: 20 minDuration: 20min
Distance: 1 miDistance: 1mi

Units are optional. MesoMetric reads the number and ignores min, mph, mi, and %. A unit written against the number can be misread. Leave a space.

One machine, one plan

All the values under a machine belong to one planned row.

Writing Duration twice replaces the first value. It does not create two rows.

Several days at once

Give each day its own heading. Each day becomes its own routine.

Day 1: Chest
Bench Press - Flat
100 lbs x 8
100 lbs x 8

Day 2: Cardio
Treadmill
Duration: 20 min
Speed: 3
Incline: 5

This creates two routines: one for chest, one for cardio.

Keep each day to one subject

Use a heading such as Day 3: Cardio for a cardio day.

Mixed headings still import. MesoMetric does not check heading wording.
