How to add equipment photos and ratings
A photo of a machine and its settings can be attached to an exercise.
These are not progress photos. MesoMetric stores the two separately.
Add a photo to an exercise
- In your active workout, tap Photo on the exercise card.
- Choose Camera or Photo Library.
- Fill in the details you want to record.
- Tap Save Photo.
The details sheet has four boxes, all optional:

After you save, the exercise card shows a thumbnail and a Machine line.
Add another photo later
Tap Photo again on an exercise that already has one. A list of your saved photos opens.
Each row shows the picture, its name, the manufacturer and model, its stars, and the date. The pinned one is marked ✓ Selected.
Tap Add new photo to take another.
Change the details
Tap the thumbnail to open the photo.
Every field edits in place. Tap the field, change it, then tap Save.
Empty fields show a prompt such as Add manufacturer or Add setup notes.
Rate the machine
Tap a star from one to five. Tap the same star again to clear it.
The rating saves when you tap. There is no Save button for it.
A rating is used in two places: the stars show on the exercise card, and the exercise list can be sorted by Equipment rating.
Delete a photo
On the photo screen, tap Delete photo and confirm.
Delete this photo?
Where your photos go
- Into a Daily Export or Coach Report, when Photos is on and Workouts is included
- Into Back up my data, which packages the image files
The equipment name also appears in your exported session text.
If a photo will not open
Photo unavailable. means the image file is no longer on your phone. The details you typed remain. This happens when the file is deleted outside MesoMetric.
