How to set your daily step target

The step target is the number on the right of the // STEPS gauge on the Command Center.

Change the target

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Find DAILY STEP TARGET.
  3. Enter your number.
  4. Tap outside the box.

There is no Save button. The number saves when you tap away.

The default is 10,000.

The range is 1,000 to 100,000

A number outside that range is moved to the nearest limit:

Allowed range is 1,000–100,000.

A blank box or a non-numeric value leaves the previous target in place.

It counts cardio steps, not your whole day

MesoMetric counts steps only from cardio logged in the app. It is not a pedometer. It does not read Apple Health or Google Fit.

A 10,000 target means 10,000 steps recorded during cardio sessions. It is not comparable to an all-day step goal on a watch.

How to understand your cardio numbers

Nothing happens when you reach it

The target changes the number on the gauge. Nothing else changes.

There is no alert, no notification, and no celebration. It does not appear in any export or report.
